About the job:
We are looking for an experienced QA Engineer who will form part of a global software development team and be responsible for testing web and mobile applications, along with managing test automation. You need to be an expert in QA engineering along with good experience in writing and execution of test cases.

Responsibilities
- Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
- Accurately estimate the scope of work in consultation with Lead/Sr. QA Engineer and ensure estimates and timelines are met
- Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test scenarios/cases
- Test and prove that the application/system meets business and functional requirements using various testing techniques (Functional/Non-functional)
- Identify & determine severity & priority for defects and monitor resolutions
- Develop strong application-level understanding for the applications/systems that are assigned for testing
- Understand impact/risk analysis and ensure that testing activities cover all the areas
- Responsible for finding and reporting bugs and executing test cases (manual or automated) and analyse results.
- Applying, improving and maintaining quality standards.
- Performing and automating regression testing.
- Developing and executing QA test plans during all phases of product development.
- Documenting software defects, using defect tracking system.
- Preparing test reports for internal teams and stakeholders
- Work with the team to create and maintain regression / sanity test suite
Skills
- 3-5 years of experience as a QA Engineer
- A good communicator comfortable working within and leading development teams
- Stong experience in Web testing and test automation.
- Ability to assess software quality (Web & Apps) through manual and automated testing.
- Strong basics on Manual, API testing.
- Strong experience of Mobile testing (iOS, Android) on local as well as cloud platforms.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for reaching to root cause of customer reported issues.
- Experience in full life cycle software development including design, development, production, testing, roll-out, maintenance and support.
- Good understanding in project management and QA methodology; familiarity with agile frameworks and regression testing
- Very good experience of GUI tests UI web journeys.
- Experience designing, developing, implementing, executing of test cases, delivering reporting metrics on quality and coverage.
- Demonstrate intuition and knowledge about how to break the software by finding bugs, and apply this knowledge with the measurable result, impacting the quality of the product
